Justflights Car Parking Charge !!!
Have booked Justflights transfer from Heathrow without a problem after noting that others had had trouble contacting them. But was surprised when on confirmation of the pickup the quote now said plus car parking fee. No mention of how much the " car parking fee" is. Has anyone any idea how much the car parking fee is. Also that we would be charged extra for hand luggage. We have said that we would have 2 bags. Frankly I'm not sure if we will have hand luggage, surely I wouldn't be charged for carrying a handbag.
Thanks for any feedback as always.

You really need to ask them.
The commonsense policy would be to charge you the car parking fee (it's impossible for them to operate without incurring one) they actually pay, including whatever it costs them to wait for you if you're delayed. Those fees vary by terminal and are at http://tinyurl.com/2bw5lw
But only they can tell you if that actually IS their policy

Thanks Flanneruk I have checked out your link & found the costs not as bad as I had anticipated. They say they monitor your flight & don't come into the Airport until after the plane has landed. Hopefully we will get through customs without too much of a delay.

do you mean "just flights" or "Just airports"?
Just airports does just as you say - they monitor your flight's status and stay off airport until about the time you should exit arrivals. Very seldom are there any extra "standing/parking" charges. Unless you dawdle and take longer to maneuver through the airport than is expected.
BTW - customs is not an issue. It is immigration (passport control) that can take time. You probably won't even realize it when you walk through customs, But immigration is where you have to queue up and wait to talk to an immigration officer.

Janis - Per an email I received from Just Airports today, they no longer give the 40 free minutes. They informed me they have changed their policy and I would be charged for the parking fee which can be up to 6 pounds.
I also had an issue about having to get the Estate even though I would only have two 22" suitcases and two small totes. I was told that even though they are small totes, ANYTHING over two suitcases requires the Estate.
Looks like I will be exploring further options...

"I would only have two 22" suitcases and two small totes" - why not bring 2 larger suitcases, to avoid having to have an estate car ? Are you hoping to be able to take it all on the flights both ways as hand baggage ? If so, are you going to be able to fit within the liquid constraints on leaving ? I know Janis says she can do it, but I can't last more than 2 or 3 days on the amount of liquid toiletries allowed in hand baggage.
