Just Received Mobal Nokia Phone - Thanks Again!

My $49 Nokia phone from Mobal arrived in two days as promised, fully charged and with excellent instructions. The $1.49 per minute is a lot, so I will either use it only for emergencies or see if it can be unlocked and a new SIM card inserted in Germany. I will probably leave the phone with my son when I go (he'll be in Germany thru August) so a prepaid SIM is a much better idea.

THANKS for the great suggestion!

I too just purchased the $99 Tri Band and could not believe how much help Georgina and Taka were in getting the phone to me. I know that there are probably better ways to have cell service in Euroipe this sure is easy and makes sense for a once or twice a year to Europe traveler.

Do a Net search on your brand of phone and the word "unlock" and you will quickly find someone who will give you the code for $5 or less. Then you can use the prepaid SIM.
