Just curious - "Gay Friendly" logo for Mas des Carassins?

I was searching for the meaning of Carassins and came across a gay friendly logo for "Gay Provence." Can't say I have ever seen that before. I just assumed that all travelers were treated equally. Can anyone shed any light on this peculiar logo?

They offer discounts to members of the Gay Provence Association...

And did you find the meaning of Carassins ?

Thank you, Ira. My French is rusty to say the least. It was my minor in university but I don't recall studying Les genres des Poissons! I have reservations at le Mas in Sept., also staying at Hotel Borghese in Greoux, but I do know the origin of Borghese!

""Genre de poissons d'eau douce dont fait partie le poisson rouge. ""

Think goldfish... which is a member of the family of fresh water fish.
