Just a suggestion...

I agree with many posters' sentiments that we will not allow terrorists to rule our lives and deter us from future travel. However, I would like to gently suggest that we look to reschedule and/or postpone our leisure/vacation travel and give first priority on flights to those who are still stranded and trying to get home and those who are traveling to attend what will be the many funerals and memorials to come. Surely, our vacation plans are not nearly as important. Also, please make every attempt to step outside and light a candle tonight at 7.

Sounds like a nice idea, but not for those of us with non-refundable airline tickets or pre-paid travel arrangements.
And no I don't think travel insurance is going to cover terrorism, acts of war, or trying to be a nice guy and let others have priority.

I am very surprised by this statement from you, Art.

and I don't see any good reason for the post by xxx to have been anonymous. I don't agree with it - - softly "killing" the airlines by not flying does not help america, nor any of the rest of the world.

Best wishes,

Rex
