It's snowing in Paris!!!

Oh, how I would just love to be there right now!!! I've never experienced snowfall when in Paris...how dreamy!

It's dreary and pouring out here, off and on, in SoCal. BUT, I saw the prettiest rainbow driving to work.

...and London, I can see flakes drifting past my office window now.

...and Italy, even in Puglia where I'm going on Friday.

There's some freak cold snap going on that's drifted down from Scandinavia.

It's not that dreamy when you have to struggle to work! Give me the Caribbean!

I live in a place that gets no snow. I was so hoping for snow when I was in Paris last month, but no snow for me.... <sniff, sniff>

OK, I'll enjoy it through the web cam.

Its snowed off and on all day. When I got up this morning there was a nice dusting everywhere. I love how it mutes the sound. Sooo quite and relaxing. Sun came out for a bit and melted most of it off. It's continued to snow off and on so as the sun goes down maybe it will stick again.

I was there in mid-december and it snowed on us as we exited the Pantheon. What a wonderful surprise that was!

You can see the snow on the ground pretty well at Place de Italie right now:

(My kids are there, so I keep looking for them!)

I found it...how fun! Does anyone happen to know how long the rink will stay at HDV? I'll be there in March.

I wasn't able to open some of these webcams, except for abcparislive. What rink are we talking about?

There is a temporary ice rink in front of the Hotel de Ville on the square. It has two big igloos next to it.

Darn, I would like to see that. I did go skating on the Eiffel Tower. It was a small rink, but that's OK because I'm a lousy skater. I wouldn't trade the experience of skating there for anything, especially when the tower started to twinkle.

I wanna go back!!!!

OK, I gave it another try and I did get it to open this time. I like this site even more than abcparislive. Thanks for giving me a new place to get my Paris fix.

Cool!!!
Do you think it might stick around for another week??
I guess my favorite winter coat is gonna be just fine for this trip..

Meanwhile, it is 76 in Jacksonville Florida and the birds are migrating through here now..

It snowed in Paris this week 10 years ago, when our daughter and husband were there on their honeymoon. Southerners that they are, they were delighted!

And this week last year we were in Rome and it snowed there! Loved it...
