E-gads, bashaw and smueller, aiming is not the problem...

Unless of course you're "shooting in the dark!"

I think it's in men's genes (or "jeans"...) not to ask for directions. Think about it. Why else would it take SO many sperm to fertilize an egg? If they stopped and asked for directions more would find their way.

We men never ask for directions because we prefer the journey to the destination.

Rita Rudner has all the answers to these questions. As an aside, I would like to ask women why, when they reach 40, they think it's okay to chop their hair to an ugly crew-cut length and why they decide to allow their bodies to collapse like a thirty year old, formless sofa?

SteveJudd, I have the answers to your questions!

1. For the same reason balding men think a comb over is attractive or is fooling anyone.

2. For the same reason men decide to allow themselves to develop a beer belly that hangs over their belt.

You're welcome.

Let's be fair here, I think people letting their bodies collapse into a formless sofa is equal opportunity. Since 70% of the population is overweight it is clearly BOTH men and women. And of course, it's nothing to be proud of.

Steve, perhaps some gentlemen could answer that question too? I am seeing quite a few formless sofas walking around these days
As for the haircuts, be a little more kind please. For all you know, one of those ladies might be growing out her hair from having lost it due to illness.
Since this started out as a Travel thing, why don't we all try to keep it in that catagory and not the way people LOOK . Thank you

Good points, Scarlett, and genteel as always. It's that southern upbringing.

I think when some people reach a certain age, younger for some older for others, they value comfort over form, thus they cut their hair off for faster styling (or lack of) or perm it into a fluff and dry. I am not sure into which catagory a mullet style falls.
As for looking like a sofa, there are alot of young sofas out there too, male and female.
They are, as Scarlett said, probably very nice people underneath their comfort-styles though, so judge not.....

Steve- Unfortunately, we women over 40 seem to have to excercise twice as much only to look half as good.

I appreciate the replies. They're fun. And I agree, to a large extent, about men letting themselves get fat. Not bragging, but I'm 43 and only ten pounds heavier than I was when I played high school football. However, I still don't get the concept of the female chop job haircut. It's so unfeminine and, Lord knows, I love women. I'm married to one and she is not allowed a chop job just as I am not allowed by my lady to keep my hair from turning gray, which it has been doing for two decades now. But it's all there, hah! Happy it's Friday.

I saw mullets mentioned. Someone turned me on to this funny website a year ago: http://www.mulletsgalore.com

To see the euromullet, click on "Classifications", and then click on the drop-down arrow under "Section II"

The definition...euromullet: A suave mullet. A swank mullet. An understanding mullet. A considerate mullet. A sensitive mullet. Still a mullet.

Capo, I mentioned the mullet - love those mullets. But I can't bring up your mullet site, how heartbreaking.
Have you looked at it lately? I mean the web site, not a mullet. Do you sport one by chance?
