amy, we did the making of the Harry Potter studio tour and my HP buff loved it! There are lots of great sets and information about how they made the movie... it is well done. My only advice is get there early. We were in the 10am spot and in one of the first groups of the day. As we were leaving - it was a zoo! Even though there are timed entry times, all the people in front of you can clog up stuff.

Stevewith, our son is completing his third year of animation in high school (was a ground-breaking program that won an innovation award several years ago) so the intro to animation won't be of use to him... however there are several other workshops that I'm going to run by him. Thank you VERY much for that suggestion!

surfmom... thanks for more info about the Harry Potter studio tour. We'll definitely put that on the to-do list as we all will enjoy it.

Great. Best wishes for a fun trip. I saw some of the other threads you started and you all are headed for many wonderful places. Kudos for putting so much imagination into it.
