Itinerary suggestions for Switzerland-Italy-Spain for my Parents. Help Please !!
My parents will be reaching Switzerland on the 31st morning. They are booked in Torgon from the 2nd to 7th. They want to be in Switzerland till the 11th of June. They are not fond of very touristy places. What all places should they see? They are also willing to get a rental car while in Torgon. they want to see the best of Switzerland. How should they plan it?
Further they want to go to Italy. How to get there? They want to spend 8 days in Italy and further they would like to got to Spain for 8 days (If this is possible). Can you please recommend a itinerary ? Also the train routes? Should they take a euro rail pass? What are the towns they should stay in ?
Thank you

31st of what month? Why Switzerland - what do they want to see?
Sounds like they - and you - would benefit from reading some guidebooks. For train info for Europe in general, Switzerland and Italy in particular, and whether to buy a pass of some kind (likely yes for Switzerland and no for Italy) see: https://www.seat61.com/

Torgon is one of the very few places in Switzerland where you really need a car.
Possible day trips by car from Torgon:
Le Bouveret Vapeur park and Aqua Park
Evian-les-Bains
Montreux/Chillon
Rochers de Naye
Lake Geneva cruises
Le Chatelard - Barberine - Lake Emosson
Roman theatre and museums of Martigny (among them a oldtimer car museum)
Unspoilt mountain villages of Val d'Herens and Val d'Anniviers
Thermal spas of Lavey, Saillon, Ovronnaz and Leukerbad
Loetschental
Zermatt - Gornergrat (car up to Taesch, then train)
Saas Fee - Mittelallalin (revolving glacier restaurant)
Eggishorn/Aletsch Glacier (car up to Fiesch, then gondola)
underground lake of St. Leonard
Col des Mosses - Chateau d'Oex - Gruyeres (medieval city, castle, cheese diary) - Broc (chocolate factory) - Bulle - Vevey - Montreux
Medieval city centre and Roman villa (mosaics!) at Orbe, Castles of Yverdon and Grandson, museum at L'Auberson
Roman amphitheatre at Avenches, Roman villa at Vallon, partly walled medieval city of Murten, cathedral of Fribourg
SWITZERLAND - ITALY
There are at least 7 train lines and 18 bus lines between Switzerland and Italy. And there are flights from 5 Swiss airports to more than a dozen italian airports. Please tell us, from where to where you plan to go.
