Here is the link to amazon's listing -- but you can probably pick it up at a good local book store

I believe the gondola goes along the slopes of Aonach Mor in the Nevis Range. A good alternative for those that don't or can't walk Ben Nevis.

Irvine's book is the "best".

Fantastic guys this is really helping. Thanks to all and please keep your inputs coming
Btw I noted that Peter Irvine book comes highly recommended from these forums and in last 3 days I have been through all major bookstores in town to look for that or a similar book on walking/driving in highlands but no luck at all. Is there a place online wherein I can buy ebook for this book ?

Can you not get it delivered from Amazon where you are? http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_no...e+best&x=0&y=0

Pete Irvine's book is great and actually recommended by Scots!

I have no idea if it is available as an e-book - but I gave you the link on amazon . . . .

Thanks alihutch and janisj. It takes real long to get delivery from amazon here in Singapore. Therefore was looking to find an alternative.

I got my copy while in London. You'll be able to find one in Edinburgh if you can't get one sooner.

The site www.undiscoveredscotland.com is a wealth of information with an interactive map, where you can explore the different places nearby each spot...

I don't want to rearrange your trip for you, but there's a really nice and not too expensive hotel in Invergarry that you could easily use as a base for Glen Coe, Loch Ness, etc and have you close enough to Inverness to make your flight there.

Glengarry Castle Hotel

Thanks historytraveler and Greendragon. After some initial struggle am making some good headway in gathering information on Scotland.

Thanks Robertino, i am never shy to rearrange my trip as long as I get best out of it Will look at the hotel. However am going to catch my flight after stay at Skye so guess closeness to inverness airport won't matter much.

I am actually developing my itinerary now in short pieces e.g. 3 Days in Skye, 3 Days in Western Highland, 1 Day in Glen Affric etc. and will post those for your review and input.

Have actually posted my itinerary for the last day i.e. drive from Skye to Inverness via Glen Affric on the forum, hoping for some inputs !!!

Thanks again for your time and help.
