Hi

We are going to Spain .. 5 nites Barcelona & 5 nites Malaga . Need to plan my day trips and todo things .. also is it really necessary to stay overnite in Granada to see Alhambra by nite or can it be done as a day trip ..??
Any help will be gr8.

It is not "necessary" to stay overnight in Granada. The Alhambra is beautiful at night. But, if you do not have enough time, you could pass.

It depends on your tolerance for crowds and heat. In the daytime, the Alhambra is jam packed, and it is a large site with lots of hilly walking and only intermittent shade, so it can get very warm.

At night, the tourist population drops dramatically and so do the temps. The gardens can't be seen, however.

I think the ideal visit begins in the evening and ends before noon the next day.

Thanks for your help. I also was wondering if Tangiers and Gibraltor is worth a visit.. or am I trying to pack too much in 1 trip..??

You are trying to pack in too much if you add those destinations.

you've received 3 responses to your question in 3 days. The reason you haven't received 10 times that is because your title is really too generic. Could be asking anything about anywhere in Europe. I'd definitely follow TuckH's advice to re-post w/ a better/detailed title.
