Italy's "National Parks"

I have vacationed twice in Lucca and from there traveled to The Cinque Terre for a day of hiking.
What a life changing experience!!
Does anyone know of any other National Parks in Italy that are as incredible?? I enjoy hiking and beautiful views.
I heard there was such a park in Umbria?!
Thank you!

Hi DL - The coastal hike to beat all others in Italy has to be the Amalfi Coast 'Path of the Gods.'

Otherwise for mountain hiking in spectacular scenery consider the Dolomites - which include several national parks. You will finmd several links on this thread;

Hope this helps ...

The first national park designated in Sicily - - Riserva dello Zingaro - -- is also a top crowd-pleaser. We enjoyed it by boat, rather than by foot, but you can do both.

Best wishes,

The National park in Umbria, above Assisi and Spello is gorgeous.

Italy is full of great hiking and views. Le Marche's Sirolo area is another real crowd pleaser off the beaten path, right on the Adriatic.
