Sure, sorry I tried to inlcude alot in itinerary but only what was in my head from a year ago. Overnight I recalled a few more things...but its a year ago so...I'll do better this year!
Alot of dinners where at hotels, which is what happens on escorted tours alot...
But I recall dining at a few places on my own.
Tre Scalini, Roma - in piazza navona
Caffe' Rivoire, Firenze - in piazza signoria
Fauno Bar, Sorrento - in piazza tasso
Stuck to the piazza's to enjoy the people watching. Prices of course were higher but wasn't a concern of mine at the time.
I recall some shopping spots to.
Solaris in Firenze on Via Calzaiuoli for sunglasses
Bucherer in Lugano for a sleek swatch watch
White in Lugano for jeans
Gucci in Verona for a belt
Benetton in Roma for shirts
Da Geny up in Anacapri for a coral for mio mamma! She loved it!
I can't recall exact meals, mi spiace.
It was a tour program so it wasn't as I could go wherever I wanted. While it felt a bit squeezed in, I enjoyed it overall...only that people were much older than me, but I get along with older people easily anyways.
I wasn't my first trip to Italia, just wanted to give everyone the tour feel of an itinerary...
I'm young, so it wasn't the perfered way I travel. I like modern, boutique hotels over tourist hotels. I like hip, minimalist, modern type ristorante. The ristorante I go to a very incrowd over there.
In Roma, I love Acqua Negra, Gina's, Gusto, Montecarlo
In Firenze, perfer Filipepe & Beccofino
I'd love to talk more, but have alot of work to do today.
Ciao
