Italy to Paris

If you were speding a couple of weeks in Italy, then a week or so in Paris, what would be your preferred method of travel from Italy (Florence or Venice) to Paris? One that didn't get there late at night and with some consideration given to cost...
Thanks,
Dupher

We did that very trip last year---Italy then Paris. At the time I found the best connection was MyAir.com, flying Venice/Paris Orly.

I think it cost us about 30 euros. We left Venice around 3pm and were at our Paris hotel in time for dinner. Flight schedules vary on different days of the week.

Update to the above post:
I just got an email from MyAir and noticed they now fly Bologna BLQ/Paris CDG.

Paris Orly is more convenient. But if Bologna could be a good backup.

Hi JeanneB,
Thanks for the info...I just made a quick check and the tickets from Venice to Paris were 20 euros, the taxes and fees were 95 euros...is that typical?

No problem. You might like to know they're not puddle-hoppers, either. It was a full size plane. No on-board service to speak of.

Oh, and be sure to read the baggage limits. It didn't seem to me they were checking very carefully, but I've heard of big fees for overweights.

One more thing. There is a bus that takes you from Piazzale Roma directly to the airport. It's only 3 euros, or something like that. It was a good deal, very efficient.
