Italy lodging
Please forgive me for my ignorance, but can someone explain the difference between a single room versus a double room? For my husband and I would, we need the single or double room? I'm a little confused because I wasn't sure if a single room meant a twin bed. Please advise.

Hi JennyP,
I will add that when I have searched through many, many hotels of recent days, many do post their rates as "Double room for single use"
and as the above posts have stated, it is for only one person.
Not applicable for you and your husband of course, but kind of nice that it is less $ for that single traveler.
Happy travels, T.
