italy, greece and croatia - 22 days
Hi, We are needing some ideas and help for our 3 country tour. We enjoy food, and some historic sights but mainly just experiencing the culture and cafes etc.
We arrive in Venice Sept 2nd and fly out of Dubrovnik Sept 24th.
any thoughts on an itinerary would really be appreciated. We have found a land only package which stops in 3 greek islands with an overnight in Athens for 10days with Gate 1 travel. This includes ferries and hotels and I think it would be a great introduction and starts Sept 8th.
Any help is greatly appreciated

As clausar wrote, it is easy to make your own arrangements for travel in Greece, especially for September when hotels have vacancies and ferries aren't full. If you do want to use an agency, pick one based in Greece, which can provide better assistance if you need to make changes.

I agree with Heimdall. We don't normally use travel agents but used a Greek travel agent in Athens and he booked everything, ferries, flights, hotels, guides. It is very easy to travel by ferry between the islands and then we rented a car for the Peloponnesian Pen. We couldn't find a way to go to Croatia when we went so glad it's possible now.
