Has anyone traveled from Croatia to Greece?
Hello...
I´ve just decided to go to Greece, but I would like to visit Slovenia and Croatia first (am coming from Spain).
Since most of my trip was in Western Europe, I only have a W.E. guidebook. I managed to find a lonely planet one on Greece here in Spain, but need help for the others.
I read briefly that train travel through Croatia isn´t great. Would some kind of ferry be an option? I will go through my new Greece guidebook tonight and check out some airline sites as well, but would appreciate any leads you might have.
Thanks...I know this is kind of a random question.

It's several years since Jadrolinija stopped running summer services to Greece. The only way to get from Croatia to Greece by sea is via Italy. Try www.jadrolinija.hr and www.superfast.com for Dubrovnik-Bari-Greece, but there are more frequent services by several operators via Split-Ancona-Greece. From northern Croatia, it might be easier to get a bus to Trieste, then get a ferry to Greece (www.anek.gr).
