Italy 15 days
Ok trip is just about planned...need advice
We are arriving in Rome and staying that day (jet lag) plus 2 more for touring then on to Ravello in amalfi coast including a day in Capri for total of 3 days( stopping in Naples for pizza and Hercuaneum on the way (private driver from Rome).
Amalfi to Tusacny 2 nites Private driver then to Florence for 3 nites then fast train to Vencie for 3 nites and fast train to Milan 1 nite so to fly home from there. Total 15 nites
Questions:
Should we take a private driver boat to Capri for the day? Should we take a private boat trip to nearby island when is Venice. Is 3 nites in Venice to much? Is our break down of days good?

Lots of questions. You don't have enough time in any of your stops to appreciate the sights but I suspect you already know that. Is this your first trip to Italy. I think you are trying to do too much in 15 days but that is your choice.
Have you already made your plane reservations? If not, you might consider flying into Naples and visiting the Amalfi Coast first then making your way to Rome, Tuscan countryside, Florence and Venice. Skip Milan and fly home from Venice.
You can see all of these places using public transportation but at the fast pace you will be traveling, a private driver might save you a bit of time to actually visit the sights.

I appreciate your input and I fear it is a bit fast paced. we do have all transfers and private touring drivers throughout, plus reservasions on first class fast trains.
Thought we might as go with private drivers due to the fact we may not be able to do this again. We wish we could fly out of Venice with our Frequent Flier miles and so we are limited even using their Partners. Plus the fact that we want to do this with the least amount of plane tranfers and arrive in ATL via British Airways. Reason we are doing one overnight in Milan is because we can get a connecting flight to London Heathrow to Atl and cannot from Venice.
I do wish we had more time what do you think is a good amount of time in each place?

In my opinion you need 3 destiations total. Although honestly you could spend all your time in just 1 or 2 and not run out of things to do!
I would suggest either:
Amalfi/Rome/Florence & Tuscany
or
Amalfi/Rome/Venice
or
Rome/Florence & Tuscany/Venice
If you choose Amalfi, then head straight their after landing in Rome. Should be easy enough if you have a private driver. For your last night, just train to Milan so you're sure to make your flight the next day.
