Italian language in Italy

My Son (20) and I (54)are interested in taking Italian language courses in Italy this summer and maybe take some art courses as well including photography. We are beginners and have seen a few places in Florence as good alternatives. The duration is for about 2 weeks.
Any recommendation?

Before you go, use italki to find Italian friends and chat on Skype or Zoom for free with people who want to learn English

Welcome Gerardovdl! Try Perugia... its University for Foreigners has been recommended before:

Will you be renting a car?

I've only taken Italian classes in Italian cities, in Rome here:
https://www.scuolaleonardo.com/Itali...hool-Rome.html

and in Venice here:
https://www.istitutovenezia.com/ital...in-venice.html

I'd recommend both of the above schools. But there are many such schools all over Italy. If you'll have a car, you might look into this place in Montepulciano:
