A new statue of Elizabeth I in Westminster Abbey

It looks like they took bits from a few different existing statues and stuck them together. What's with all the different materials?
(Current) Queen Elizabeth must have had to work harder than usual to maintain a neutral expression.

well you knew who it was supposed to be! it looks to me as if they modelled it on the Blackadder version. Where's nursie?

Wow. How in the heck do you keep a straight face and say something polite to the "artist"???

It's bad enough when they do "abstract" art that is awful but it's even worse when it's supposed to be someone specific.

Ewww. Scary.

She looks like she's from outer space. Calling this the "worst statue ever" is far too kind. This is just repulsive.

Has anyone checked her crypt to see if she's turning in her grave?

It should be called Indecision 1603.

This is hodge podge of media and styles that does not speak to the subject, her era, or her accomplishmnets.

The neck ruff is so odd it looks like her head is popping out of a toilet. Self-indulgent crap.
