Is there a sightseeing tram in Santiago de Compostela? I saw a photo that had what appeared to be a tram in one of the main plazas, but I can't find any information about this. Does Santiago indeed have such a tram? (similar to a hop-on/hop-off bus in some cities?) Thanks

Trams in Santiago? I don't think so… there is a touristic trams line in A Coruña

I don't think she means a tram. She's probably using an odd dialect of English - possibly one spoken in a country that abolished trams as a means of serious transport years ago

I think she means some kind of bus, not a tram relying on rails and overhead wires.

In plain English: is there a sightseeing bus or somesuch in Santiago that takes people round the historic centre? Or has she merely seen a photograph of special transport for disabled pilgrims?

There is a tractor made up to look like a train and pulling carriages that tours the city.

Please believe me-a total wate of time & euros!

The train/tram/tractor skims the outskirts of the historic area! It is impossible to understand/hear the commentary because of the noise of the tractor & traffic! We jumped on it because of the bad weather but would have enjoyed sitting in a cafe more!

We took that train our first day when we were super jetlagged... it was kind of fun, but no shocks in the seats meant a sore bum at the end of it all. It is not a hop on hop off thing. You are stuck with the shockless seats for the duration.
