Is the RER on strike?
I saw mentioned on another forum that the RER will be on strike on Friday the 13th, 2011. Is that true? If so, does anyone know how long it might last? We arrive at CDG around noon on Sunday, so I'd really like to know. Will this affect the Metro, as well?

Since I posted, I found a brief news article.
"Four unions, the CGT, FO, SUD and Unsa, will stage a one-day strike from 4.45am Friday until 1.30am Saturday.
The two RER A and B lines normally carry almost two million people a day and a spokesman for Unsa said they will have little to no service throughout Friday.
Workers are protesting at conditions on the lines which they say are over-capacity.
The RATP, which runs the Metro lines and buses in the capital, said their services would be operating as normal."

Taking overcrowded metro line 1 this morning, I heard some of the regular RER A users (same route as line 1) mentioning that one train out of six was running today.
The RER B from CDG is running at 50% today as far as Gare du Nord. You have to change trains if you want to go farther south from there, and the RATP section is only about at 30% service.
