Is The 'Graffiti Wall' Section Now Open On The St. Peter's Scavi Tour?

I have taken the tour twice but both times that section was closed off.
I recall a post a few months back where the poster mentioned seeing the Graffiti Wall.
I'm wondering if he was mistaken or have they reopened that section?
Has anyone taken this tour recently?
I plan on booking it again if that section (which really interests me) is open.
Regards, Walter

I took the tour about two weeks ago and I don't recall anything about the Graffiti Wall, so I'm assuming its still closed.

Thanks tcreath, I hope you're wrong though .
eurotravler: Just checking but this is what you saw http://www.stpetersbasilica.org/Conf...omb/Wall_G.jpg
After seeing the tombs all on the same ancient street, you went up a few stairs and thru a small modern door to where St. Pete's Tomb is? And then returned to the necropolis and up the stairs to the basement level of the Basilica where all the Popes are entombed? Thanks...Regards, Walter

Walter -- I also took the tour in early September and we also saw the graffiti wall, with the boxes of the alleged remains of St. Peter. The guide talked about the graffiti and it's translation.

Thanks eurotravler and awbaker that's what I was hoping for .
My 1st visit was cancelled due to I was told structural problems.
2nd visit I was told that section was still closed off.
And my 3rd visit I thought it had reopened but was told it was probably closed permanently.
So I'll try again and hopefully I'll not jinx the site again . Regards, Walter
