I usually stash money in FRONT pockets. If you carry your bag in the manner you described, it shouldn't be a problem.<BR>Most of the board posters seem to agree. The problem is with looking like a tourist. If you must take a map out, do it in a cafe. If you're going to take a photo, keep your bag on and absolutely put the strap around your neck or hand securely.<BR>If you still want to worry, there are people who advise sewing a piano wire into the strap. Then they're not so easily cut.<BR>However, as your important posessions will bein your money belt, why not take an older purse and camera? Then just laugh if you get pickpocketed or purse snatched. They can have fun digging through wads of kleenex and etc.<BR>Just stash one roll of film at a time, and when you're done, just slip it into a front pocket. Leave the rest in your hotel room (safe).<BR>Good journeys!
