Is Prague city center safe between 4-5 am?

Hi, I have a bus trip to Vienna from Prague Main Railway Station at 5 am. My hotel is situated in 15 minutes walking distance from the station (Sokolska street) . I wonder if this area safe during these hours? Should I change my bus ticket to later hours?

Sunrise at 5:26 so in the dark, I'd not fancy it, but not an expert in that part of town

I was going to suggest a taxi, but most hotels won't let you check in until 3pm or so. Of course they'll store your luggage, but what are you going to do at that time of day? Nothing will be open yet.

I would prefer to arrive at a more civilized hour.

Perhaps I’m misreading this, but I took it that the OP will be walking from hotel to the Prague bus station to start 4 hour journey to Vienna? Arriving early morning in Vienna, but not that early.

I stayed within walking distance of the Prague train station. It seemed a bit far but maybe a 10-15 min walk and I was a traveling solo. I was at the station around noon both days so my opinion might not help but no one bothered me. It was more crowded when I left than when I arrived but I was also waiting for my train.

No one was walking the streets which could be a little eerie in the dark. I was also closer to the river. If you can't go later, I would get a taxi.

Unless funds are very stretched I would ask the hotel to arrange a cab for me to get me to the station in time for the train or book an Uber. It should be a pretty short journey given the hour, and you don't want to get lost or worse. Sometimes it's just not worth the hassle to save a few €.
