Is it possible to day trip to Ronda from Seville via bus?

I am going to Seville on Friday for 5 nights, and many people have suggested we daytrip to Ronda. However, we are not renting a car. Is it possible to get to Ronda by bus? Is it worth it?

While probably possible (you'll have to find some bus schedules to check), you have to ask yourself if 6 hrs round-trip is worth it (for anywhere).
I really loved Ronda (even more than Sevilla, but that's probably unusual), but given how much there is to see and do in Sevilla, and that there are closer day trips, I'd skip Ronda this time. Are you going to Cordoba? That is an easy day trip by train.

Hi, GypsyHeart -

Los Amarillos used to run buses between Sevilla and Ronda; it was about 2.5 hours one-way as I recall. Perhaps you can find their schedules on line.

Hope that helps!

Agree that Cordoba would be a better, easier day-trip.

Thanks. Yes, we are stopping for an overnight in Cordoba on the way to Madrid.

Just in case your day trip to Ronda is still an option: You can find the timetables of the bus at
http://www.touristbus.es/frgrsamar.htm

Among other options, for the longest possible stay in Ronda you can leave Sevilla at 8am, arrive Ronda 10.30am (or already 10am if you get on the Fuengirola bus). Leave Ronda 5 pm, arrive Sevilla 7.30pm.

I'd double check with the company, though, since the website runs a disclaimer saying that due to current construction of the website, some information may not be up to date.
