Is it Better Experience to Train from Barcelona to Lisbon?
My sister and I are travelling to Madrid first then Barcelona this April on a tour. After the tour, from Barcelona we are thinking of going to Lisbon for 6 days. We want to experience travelling by train. Is it a good idea and would it be easy to do so? I have been googling as to how in omio , rome2rio and trainline website. Im a little confused and not sure if i have to book now. Can anyone help me please or share me their thoughts or experience ? portugal

How are you getting to Barcelona from Madrid? Most would take the train for that.
Going to Lisbon from Barcelona is going to mean back tracking.
Take the train to Seville and from there head to Lisbon. Bus I think. Still would be easier to start in Barcelona then go to Madrid instead of the opposite.

Barcelona Sants dp 7.40 - Madrid Atocha ar 10.10, dp 10.55 - Merida ar 15.05, dp 15.31 - Badajoz ar 16.11, dp 19.41 - Abrantes ar 20.51, dp 21.11 - Lisboa Oriente ar 22.13.
Planes and buses are faster.
