My son is working at his company's headquarters in Bangor for September and October. His wife and ten year old daughter will be with him. What are the pros and cons about renting versus leasing a car? Suggestions about which company?

Some quick tips about renting vs leasing.
Pros Renting:
For short term trips , choose what insurance coverage you want, (always recommend full coverage but more expensive), short term cheaper
Cons Renting: Used car (could have problems), Insurance can be a hassle, pick up and drop off locations might not be flexible.

Pros leasing: New car, complete insurance package fixed into price, cheaper the longer you stay
Cons leasing: They run out of cars if you book late, can be expensive if you are leasing for just a few days.

Thanks for your help. Would it be better to rent or lease the car in Bangor, Belfast or Dublin? He will be flying into Dublin.

If hes flying out from Dublin that might be the easiest way. I say drop off your car as close to your departure point as possible and pick up from as close to where you land
