Ireland Photo Contest Winners?

Were the winners of the Ireland photo contest announced? I never saw it, but it was before the National Park contest, and the winners for that one have been announced. Anyone know? (Katie?)

I assume if I don't know if I won or not, that I didn't. But I'd like to know who did!

"Winners will be announced on or about October 15, 2009" So looks to me it's now closer to 'about' than 'on'

I've also heard nothing - hopefully they just have a lot of great entries to work through. Be nice to see what they chose as the winning entries, especially since they also claimed to be looking for interesting descriptions.

Agreed - I was wondering about this too. Maybe Katie will see the thread and give an update?

They'll be announced shortly. Judging was delayed due to several folks being out of the office unexpectedly. Sorry for the delay and thanks for the interest!

I returned home from Ireland October 16, 2009, can't wait to re-live my trip thru the pix of others.

Has anyone seen the movie "PS I Love You"? Heard there is gorgeous Irish scenery.

Re: the movie P.S. I Love You. We primarily went to see it with the expectation of seeing a lot of Irish scenery so that we could reminisce about our trip to the Emerald Isle. Unfortunately the movie is pretty bad. The local cable guide described it as mawkish. They gave it one star! Excellent description and to top it off, the film barely set foot in Ireland.

Uh-oh - I just got it from Netflix! I'd heard mixed reviews - now I'm kind of looking forward to seeing how bad it is...

Trust me it really is BAD. And Hilary Swank is so talented & Gerard Butler so sexy but there you go: the script is the key to a good movie.

When will the slideshow for the "Show us Your Ireland" contest be available - and how will we find it? Thanks.
