Ireland- Fall Colours peak time?

Hi all,

I am researching for a trip to Ireland this year and my Mother would like to go when the fall colours are at their peak in the County Galway, Clare and north Tipperary areas. Can anyone recommend a timeframe for that?

I can Google New England Fall foliage and get a hundred hits...looking for Ireland- almost nothing that feels reliable.

Thanks!

Sept / Oct but don't expect to be blown away like in New England. or in Japan There is no 'leaf touring' for example. It is a very temperate place so seldom the freezing morning temps, but there will be some trees that do change colour
