I haven't read either report, so I don't know if my suggestions are covered.
*There's an excellent Etruscan museum that's worth your times. It's not too large, so it won' take a lot of your time.
*If you're going during a warm enough month, spend time sitting in Piazza Maggiore, truly one of Italy's finest piazzas. It'll make you feel like you are really in Italy!
*If you plan on doing any shopping in Italy, Bologna a good place to do it in. We found the prices better than Rome, Florence and Venice
*There's an excellent Etruscan museum that's worth your times. It's not too large, so it won' take a lot of your time.
