I failed miserably on the test.

Are these two right, at least???

The gelato was "Pizzo"
Aspromonte is "all of the above."

I knew about Stolen Figs but which is other book?

Good things the parents are no longer here to ask for the report card!

I have to think up a question but right now I am drawing zilch.

Settling in now before dinner to read for the third time!!!!!!

Go Zebs! (Or, in my neck of the world, it would be Zeebster!!)

Did you happen to see the Farm Aid concert on tv, and if so, art comments on individual performances?

Your photos are not just "arty;" they are absolutely glorious......I have so many favorites!!!!

ANUJ merci beaucoup encore. Et puis, je propose un 'trade'. Mrs Z and I will trade you for the fitness level that you two clearly have (cue ANUJ and better half seen in their TRs hiking from here to Mars) for um....uh...dunno, we'll think of something.
I am curious: where to next?

Et aussi 'Eks'. Where are you off to next? I am genuinely curious about where folks may be heading. We have pals currently on a cruise: Istanbul, Santorini, Malta then Rome (only 36 hrs in Roma--ouch!). My stepmom just cut short her Swedish trip after spraining her hip. She remained in Iceland to recover a bit then returned home here. Another couple we know with unlimited resources has opted yet again to attend a Rock Legends cruise, you know the kind: 7 bands with maybe one or two remaining members plus a nephew. Personally, I wouldn't pay the sweat off my (sound of slap) to go on such a cruise, but different strokes.

You ask about the Quiz. Here are the overdue answers:
1) all of the above
2) Spartacus
3) surici dormice
4) the first pair of books *Exploding Tomatoes apparently exists but we could not find a copy.
5) Pizzo *you were correct
6) Alesandro--he of the Newmanesque blue eyes--his elder supervisor had lived in Ottawa for nearly three decades.
7) 300
8) Starbucks
9) all of the above

Missed Farm Aid, but am currently borrowing Dylan's recent 'Rough & Rowdy Ways' from library.

Best to all!
I am done. the nduja (seems it is properly pronounced en-doo-jah)

Ha ha ! We had a very active holiday in Italy (Abruzzo & Molise) earlier this year - my TR here Undiscovered Italy: Abruzzo & Molise (and some Lazio), May 2025

We're currently in Scotland (I managed to eke out some holiday time, around a work-related London trip!) - will attempt another TR when back. I think that wraps up our travels for 2025.

Aaah zebec, I’m on my work lunch break and sharing your photos with a colleague - deep sigh - I’ve said it many times but I’m in awe of how you capture scenes and people.
