I wanted to thank everyone for their advice and give some feedback. We stayed at Lungarno Suites in June and it was actually even better than I'd expected. We booked a 1br suite with view connected to a studio and it was a ridiculous amount of space for the 4 of us (but the only way to guarantee a river view and 2 bathrooms.) If I were returning with only 2 people, a studio would be more than enough. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, large bathrooms, perfect location, excellent service. Room service breakfast is lovely, delivered on time and in about an hour they call your room to see if you're ready to have it cleared away. I'd been a little worried it would feel more like apartments than a hotel, and there is no restaurant or bar in the building (no shortage in Florence) but there's a front desk and concierge and exceptional service. We'd go back in a heartbeat so thanks again to everyone
