To Linda (Keelx2)

May I write to you? I didnt notice that you had posted on this thread last week.

You wrote to me (individually) though it was in a "reply to:" in connection with correspondence between Escritora, Kavey and others.

I realize that it seems a bit silly to post this here on the board. But you may or may not know that one person has made accusations of my writing unsolicited e-mail to her (I sent her a "welcome to the board" message). Thus, I do not write without permission.
I have just had the most bizarre, Catch-22, situation with American Airlines. I thought back to this hilarious thread and I am posting to this thread to bring it back to the top for those who may not have seen it. Happy flying???!!

I recently painted and in the fine print of the frequent painter brochure it said if you paint between Sept 15 and March 31 you will get 5,000 frequent paint coupons. But when I got my paint statement there were no coupons. When I called the paint store, they said "You did not buy the $200 paint, you only bought the $12 paint so you do not get the frequent paint coupons." I said " I have bought the $12 paint in the past and always got my paint coupons. I had been counting on those paint coupons so I could paint again." They said "We will give you a one time good customer paint bonus of 5,000 frequent paint coupons." I said "Thank you very much. This will allow me to paint for free!" Painting for free is the best way to paint!
