Ideas for 10 hour layover in Athens

Ideas for 10 hour layover in Athens
A family of 8 looking for something to do on our final day in Greece. We arrive from Paros at 9AM and our flight to US is not until 5:30PM, We will have already visited Athens.

My first thought would be to go back into Athens to see some things you didn’t see on previous visits. There is always something new to see in Athens no matter how many times you’ve been there before. If you want to stay nearer the airport there is Attica Zoo, which children may enjoy:

You stated that you already visited Athens. How many days? There is a lot more to Athens than just the tourist sites. It would take a minimum of two with 3 days being better to fully experience what the city has to offer.
However, with your limited time frame and a flight at 5:30 p.m. means you have to get back to the airport at least 2 hours before your flight. In addition you didn't mention if you were flying back from Paros or taking a ferry. Either involves getting off the means of transportation with the airport probably taking more time than a ferry. Both way means extra time to get to Athens.
So your free time will be even less than you think. If there is something closer to the airport that may interest you that would be your best option. I haven't spent much time near the airport so can't help with that.
