Since you're dying to know, they're New Balance, mostly grey with some black and white. And they're a slice of heaven on my tootsies!

That's the only item where I dip a toe into the pool of American dorkdom. No fanny pack, no logo teeshirts.

God, I'm so relieved with this decision. I feel like I burned my bra or something.
Who cares what you wear on your feet on a holiday? Personally, I wear running shoes, and they're WHITE, because that's what I have at home and I want to have comfortable shoes when I'm walking all those kilometres!! Who could be bothered buying a pair of BLACK running shoes - they're too b.... hot!!

Just to add that I also love New Balance walking shoes. I have them in black and--horrors--white! I won't tell you which ones I bring so you won't be able to tell who I am for those of you planning to take photos of feet.

New Balance shoes are very comfortable and much much cheaper than Mephistos. In addition to comfort, I bring my NB shoes because they are relatively lightweight when you have luggage schlepping to consider.

Whatever you wear, I hope your trip is blister free as you speed past Marble Arch Support in Sneakers Corner in Dorky Park.

Thanks for the laughs.
