I never finished this report, never wrote about my few days in Rome after an absence of six years--perhaps because I spent most of my time wandering in the sun and chasing mosaics in far-flung churches. A special time for me, but not necessarily interesting to others.
I never did look for a mosaic class at home.
BUT
I am returning to Italy, leaving in a few days, to take another course at the mosaic school in Ravenna. I don't think anyone here needs another tile-by-tile account of my class, but I'll share any new insights when I return.

Ellen, our course ended up having about 6 people in it so she ran it as a regular one-week course (we left early Friday afternoon though).
I hope your next one is fantastic!! Are you staying at B&B Al Teatro?
