I found a good rate at Radisson.com

I just wanted to let everyone know that I found what I thought was a good rate on Radissons' website. £115/nt. including breakfast and VAT. I've booked the Vanderbilt for February. It also included a coupon book for stores and attractions which might be helpful for first time visitors.

Which we will assume is in London.
See how easy it is if we all put our minds together?
But it might be even easier if the original post mentioned the city.

You're right Patrick. I realized my mistake after I posted and then given a second chance I still haven't redeemed myself. I hope Tallulah doesn't see this post as she seems to be on a rant today!

I stayed there earlier this year. Actually my second time. Last year it was a great experiene. This year it was not so good. They were in the middle of some remodelling and the breakfast was served in the basement instead in the dining room. I reserved the same room I had last year which in the meantime had been converted to" smoking". Of course I could not know this and ended up with very disappointing accommodation. If any of this is important to you perhaps you should find out if they are still remodelling.

Pipsil, I appreciate the information. I'll email them in a few months to see if they're still remodeling. My first choice was the Somerset down the road but they haven't posted rates yet so maybe I'll end up changing anyway. Thanks.

I had another thought. Sometimes you get a better rate by calling the hotel direct. I suggested that to a friend and she ended up with a great price at the Millenium Hotel Mayfair. I have stayed there and would recommend it above the Radisson. All big hotels have web sites and you can see the telephone numbers there.

115/nt. for single or double? You can find the same hotel at 102/nt with B/F and VAT inclusive from following site.Or visit www.findlondonrooms.com for more good deals on London Hotels.

That was for a double. As I said we may end up staying at the Somerset if they post favorable rates for February. And we want to be in S.Kensington. I just thought I would pass along this information in case someone else was looking.

Ha ha! You're safe, this didn't elicit a great rant, just a little tired sigh...! I promise I'm not a terrible ogre!

Anyway, good rate. I hope that you have a great trip...
