I bought Eiffel Tower tickets.. and I can't refund them?
I tried to book tickets for the eiffel tower... only to realize that I bought 4 instead of 2
two for 9:30am
two for 10:00am
then I tell my friend.. he buys 2 for 10:00am but only to the 2nd floor...
then he re buys them for the summit..
What am I going to do with the other 6 tickest.. I have already spent around 65 US dollars.. and I tried getting a refund.. but no response. What can I do? Do I just eat the lost?

Where did you buy them? Maybe someone can help if you mentioned the source.
If it is the Eiffel Tower website, I just looked at it and it has warnings all over it that you must be sure you are buying the correct thing, that you should carefully check your basket before purchase, and that online electronic purchasees are absolutely not refundable under any circumstances. <<All e-ticket sales are final and no retraction claim by visitors will be honored.>>
so I think you must eat the loss as you just were careless when they warned you repeatedly. I know it's a bummer, maybe you can find someone else who wants them?

The price is the same, and you still have to wait in line. You just don't have to wait in the line for the ticket window, but you still have to wait in line with everyone who has a ticket. But it's only good for the time you reserve, so I imagine they make some money on those who never show up. They will let you in if you get there late, but only if the max. number of visitors isn't up there so you could wait a long time for that to happen.
It says they require an ID for a specific person and that you aren't allowed to sell them and anyone who can't prove identity of the ticket they have will be denied entry. If they asked for your name and birthdate and it's on the ticket, sounds like you can't sell them.

I have, on occasion, found myself with an extra ticket for admission (usually from my husband who could not go with us due to work obligations). Most recently this was at the Academia in Florence. I have a college age son and know how tight money is for students. What I do is to search the line and pick out college-age students, and then I just give them the ticket. The guy at the Academia was stunned and so happy.
Of course you have a lot of tickets. I'd try to sell some at the line as adrienne said. If that doesn't work, I'd make some one's day by doing a kindness.

It has happened the same thing to me 30 minutes ago. This is because the website is not clear at all - you do not realize that the web memorizes all the changes- it seems it is made to make you pay more. I suspect this people may be dishonest and will denounce them

It happened to us this weekend too, the website exceptionally inclear without a confirmation page and we ended up buying 32 tickets instead of the 16 tthat we wanted! It has blown our budget for a hen weeked that we are organising! We have found the 'customer service' to be questionable and they would not speak to us via phone they would only correspond via email!!
If anyone is visiting the eiffel tower on the 5th August and would like to go up around 16:30, I'm the girl to come too!!!
