I amsterdam card
Does anyone have experience with the I amsterdam card? It would appear to be a good deal covering or discounting admissions most of the major museums as well as public transportation.
Any major highlights you would have expected but are not included? I do not see Ann Frank House.

When I went a few years ago, I did the math and decided it wasn't a good deal for me. If you will be visiting lots of museums, you should consider getting the Netherlands Museum Card, which is valid in many museums in the country (not just Amsterdam) and is valid for 1 year.

We used this a few months ago. (You can click on my name or do a search for a trip report which details it). It was a great deal for us. It includes a barge trip which we took at night (and loved looking into the wonderful houses on the canals) and entrance into the Casino (just for a lark). We loved the House of Bols (discounted, not free).
If you are museum rats I think it's a great deal!

P.S. I don't know if I would do this in wonderful weather. It was very nice when we were there end of February but there are lots of other things to do this time of year. We did the 48 hour card. It is good for 48 hours from the time you first use it. So you have to plan it out to make the best use of it.
