How to get to Carcassonne...?

Good day.

I'm having trouble getting to Carcassone. I intended to fly to London and fly Ryan Air to Carcassone. However, Ryan departs Stansfeld Airport at 9:50, but I would arrive (in Heathrow) around 8:30am.

Anyone know of any other ways to get to Carcassonne?

Why don't you just wait a couple hours for the next flight, if you have any time? They have another one just about 3 hours later, and you'll probably spend as much time and more money if you try to get one an hour earlier to some other city and then get from there to Carcassone.

I don't think anyone else flies to Carcassone from London, and BA goes to Toulouse from Gatwick but that will cost a lot more and the times won't solve anything for you, with the transfers.

Go to the various websites for the airports and get the English version and click on arrivals and find out who's landing from where.

Here's Toulouse:

Maybe Bordeaux or Marseille will work better. Try their airports also.

Once you see who's flying there, go to their web sites. Example: Easyjet flies from Gatwick in March. Maybe more flights when you are going....

I'm not sure what you mean about websites saying there is only one flight. Maybe it depends on the date and it's sold out, but Ryan Air's own website says they regularly have a later flight, because I looked at it.
