I don't know about November schedules, but bus schedules in Provence in general are sporadic (every hour or two, for example, or twice a day). A good guidebook should tell you how to get to these places, espec. St-Remy, as that is a big tourist place. I think the only way to St-Remy by public transporation is a bus from Avignon, it's very time-consuming and not scheduled that well, but do-able as I've done it. I think there is one where you get there around noon and then it leaves in late afternoon around 4 maybe. This just gives you enough time to have a light lunch and then walk the mile or two to the asylum where Van Gogh lived, walk around there a bit, a walk back to town. There might be enough time to view the Roman ruins there a bit, or walk around St-Remy also. I didn't view the ruins as I wasn't so interested in them as the asylum and town and country views/walks in general. The bus back wanders all over the country and functions as a schoolbus also so it takes several hours on the return, as I recall. If you really want to view these small villages in Provence, a car is really best. You can get to the bigger towns pretty well like Aix and Arles and Nimes, but not these small ones. I don't think there is any bus to Menerbes. There is an Apt-Cavaillon bus route that stops a little bit aways from Bonnieux, I think that's the closest. well, I'm glad you found these as I just saw your other post and wondered if this message had disappeared and I didn't want to type it all again, so luckily I found you had read this. BTW, even though the bus was not that convenient, I really did like my day trip to St-Remy from Avignon, but I went there on a beautiful day which is important, not only because you will be walking a lot but to really appreciate the vistas that Van Gogh painted.
