Well, Anna, it is not that the mule is recalcitrant. Mules are just that way. But some mules take it too far and are in serious need of some attitude adjustment.

Anna:As in the dictionary(where of course this is not mentioned)zzzzz's first definition is the "preferred" and most commom one. Now you can understand some of the above posts. There has also been from time a mostly college prank of "hanging" a BA. This does not stand for British Airways. I guess the point is that letter abbreviations can be tricky. Elvira was refering to BA-Boeing Aircraft. Cindy was refering to BA-Bachelor of Arts. Although I doubt that Cindy is a bachelor. Who invented this confusing language anyway? <BR>Hope this answers your questions. Aren't you glad you asked?

It's even more of a fun language when two different nations speak it. See, in England, only two of the given meanings would ever be understood from the initials BA - British Airways and Bachelor of Arts. Just goes to show how careful you have to be when talking to an American if you're English or an English person if you're American.
