how much time to allocate for museums

I'm looking at buying advance tickets for EPIC and the GPO on the same day and trying to figure out how much time to allocate for the GPO so I know what time to buy the EPIC tickets? and if we arrive late for said tickets would we still be admitted? thanks

The websites of both museums suggest 90 minutes, but obviously no one can say how much time YOU would want to spend in either/both. If you are descended from Irish emigrants, you may want to spend more time at the EPIC than the typical visitor.

Both websites also provide email addresses for any questions you may have about your visit.

When I have that sort of dilemma I simply book one in the morning and one for after lunch. Then you can adjust how much time you spend at lunch . . .

Hi, For the GPO, I'd allow around 1 to 1.5 hours, it's compact but genuinely engaging, and it's easy to linger if you're into the 1916 history. EPIC can take anywhere from 2 to 3 hours depending on your pace, so I'd leave a comfortable gap between the two rather than back-to-backing them tightly. As for arriving late to timed tickets, both attractions are generally flexible within reason, but I'd check directly with each venue when booking.

thanks all - I'm going to stop worrying and get online today and do it. This is very helpful. I know it will be fine however it works out.
