How long (time wise) does it take to get from Rome to Athens?

Rome to Bari between 4 hrs 37 minutes (direct/no changes) and 7 hours 59 minutes depending on which train(s) you take.

Bari to Patras 16.5 hours (ferry)

Patras to Athens about 3.5 hours

You're welcome, Snippy.

Wow!! Thanks Dukey. How did you figure that out? That is so long that I may reconsider going there, to Athens, on this trip. A whole day of travel to get there is a lot.
