How do you say "Hello" and "Thank you" in Polish?
Hi, I will be meeting someone from Poland at the weekend and I would love to be able to say "hello" and "thank you". I have already found out how to say "goodbye" which is "naraja" - spelling may be wrong but thats what it sounds like to me! Any help with pronunciation also appreciated.
Thanks

When I spent some time in Poland I was informed by my Polish colleagues that the test of one's success in speaking Polish was the degree that people standing close to you got wet, if you know what I mean.
Oh, and an "L" with a line through it (Ł) is pronounced very close to English W.
