How do I contact the editors?

I've been all over the Fodors website and can't locate a link to the editors. There is a post by "europeroundtrips" on December 30, 2008, that appears to be advertising and should be removed. I would like to contact the editors.
Thanks.
Kay

From the FAQ section--

to the top
What should I do if I see a message that's rude or contains advertising?
If you see a message or reply that violates our rules of conduct, e-mail [email protected] with the forum name and the title of the post -- we'll look into it. We would prefer that you NOT add further comments to an objectionable message.

If you go to the TALK main page, and then click on FAQ, you will find the following:

How do I reach Fodors.com?

If you have a question about a post or a technical issue, e-mail [email protected].

[email protected] is the address you should use...

the [email protected] is more for the guidebooks, etc.

suze is correct -- the correct addresses are [email protected] for forum issues and [email protected] for book/publication issues.

Katie has posted a couple of times that the addresses need to be updated on the site - but it seems that hasn't been done.

Hmmm, interesting, as I cut and pasted their own words for how to contact them in case of advertising or other issues of concern....Good thing that you guys are up to date. I will save that info should I ever need it.

yep - that is what the site says. They changed things quite a while ago but have not updated the info on the website.

But not to worry - apparently messages sent to the wrong place usually do get forwarded on.

You can sometimes catch their attention posting just as you did here depends who's reading that day, or on the "Forums Help" board.

But the Forums address we gave above is the best bet, or the old Editors address if it is in fact a question about one of their publications.

Katie, an editor, is aware of this anomaly, and says that when the update happens, this will be changed (we hope).

I love Fodor's dearly but they are not a very cutting edge website.

I mean how hard would it be to change that one email address in the FAQ section? It's been like that forever. Katie often posts basically "dont send it to where we tell you to in the instructions send it to the other place instead". god bless her & not her fault.

this forum is sinply WAY behind others technically speaking (others offer 'report an inappropriate post' button on every post for example, has a search feature that actually works, private email bewteen posters, etc.).

Don't get me wrong the INFORMATION you can receive here is unparalleled in my experience just kind of old-fashioned technically speaking.
