Try a "cafe lungo," twice the amount of water for a usual shot of espresso is forced through the coffee.

Who knows. It may work for you.

For lovers of coffee, here is good news, found in today's paper:

Drinking coffee is good for you! It could reduce the risk of colon cander and kidney stones and might lessen symptoms of asthma.

I'll take that with my cup of java!

dln-
CHEERS! (with our coffee mugs that is - don't how to do the mug emoticon)BTW, I can't find bookchik's Paris trip report. I put Paris Trip Report in the search key and scrolled for her name, but couldn't find it. I also clicked on her name to bring up her other posts, scrolled, and still couldn't find it. Can you help? Thanks!)

The story was carried by Cox News Service, based on an article out of the August issue of Better Homes and Gardens magazine. The basis for the statement was that coffee beans have natural nutrients that help inhibit certain cancers. Only in caffinated coffee, though. Not decaf.

My wife uses one of those little heating coils to boil some water. She either has coffee or tea while she puts her makeup on in the morning. For coffee, she uses those Folgers bags that work like tea bags. It's actually pretty good stuff...much better than instant.

We also carry some Hershey's chocolate kisses. Add one to a cup of Italian coffee...you'll like it.

dln - silly me. I found it. Thanks so much. You are coming around the home stretch. Again, I wish you safe travels and a fabulous time. I, like many others, will be looking forward to a great, no doubt funny and entertaining, trip report.
