I should think so. Why don't you email the hotel and ask?

If you look at the hotel website you will see that your question is irrelevant.

Quote: "Double Queen Guestroom .... Maximum Occupancy: 2 adults, 1 child"

I would expect the hotel to provide a cot of some kind for the child. You cannot put four adults in the room.

I think I misunderstood your question. I would definitely check with the hotel to see what size beds are available.

In European hotels a so called Queen size bed is usually 1.80 x 2.00 meters, a King size bed 2.00 x 2.00 meters.

A Queen bed sleeps easily 2 adults.

But I think the OP is really asking if 4 adults can sleep in a two queen bedded room. And per the website - the answer is no.

You're absolutely right !
The hotel does not allow more than 2 adults and 1 child in the Double Queen Guestroom

In most European hotels children older than 12 years are considered as adults, and do not get any discounts.

They will have to take 2 rooms.

I think that in Europe a queen bed is 160 cm wide. A king bed is 180 wide.
However, this is not so important for OP, as in any case 5 persons (or even 4) are not allowed in a double room.

In Europe a double room means 2 people, and potentially a child. European rooms do not have two queen beds in them like lots of hotels in North America. If you want more people to a room you need to look for family rooms.

I suspected that a "double queen room" was a double room with a queen bed in it but when i looked at the website, this proved to be wrong.

http://www.hiltonprague.com/czech%2Daccommodations/guest%2Drooms/>>

however it is clear that even so, the occupancy is limited to 2 people.

they do have family rooms, but I think that they are limited to 4.

a bigger snag is that the website was showing no occupancy at all, even for a couple. I suspect that this is a glitch on the website, but at the moment they appear to be full.

"I am going to porobably book the junior king suite"

How does that help? Have you READ the web site?

Quote: "King Junior Suite .... Sleeps 2 adults"

You CANNOT put more people into a room - or suite - in a European hotel than the hotel specifies.

When we traveled with our two children in Europe, we almost always had to book either a family room (sometimes one large room, sometimes adjoining rooms, sometimes more like a suite) or two separate rooms. There were a very few occasions on which we all stayed in one regular 2-bedded room.

A double room is for TWO people - with one queen bed. Unless they say so specifically a double room does not have TWO queen beds. And a King bed still only holds 2 people.

Have you checked to see if the junior suite has a pull out sofa? If not, where are the other 2 people going to sleep? And I assume the 5th would have to be smuggled in and sleep on the floor with no pillow, blanket or sheets.

If you look at the Hilton website it shows 4 as the most people being allowed in one room - and that is the King Penthouse Suite. The other suites allow 3 people - with one king or queen bed and a pull-out chair for a single bed. I would contact then directly to confirm but they say rooms do not hold 5 people.

And I don;t know any hotel that will let you put 5 people in a regular room.

For the Hilton I think you would have to get a double room and a suite (for the other 3). If you look at other hotels you may find one with family accommodation - but that is usually 4 people - not 5.

Many people think that Junior Suites can accommodate more persons, which is not the case.
A Junior Suite is usually just a very large room, for those who want more luxury.... they are not meant for families.

In your case the best thing to do is to contact the hotel directly, they will tell you what the options are.

We stayed in Prague last year at the Hilton on Celnici. There were 3 of us and we had 2 rooms, as ea room had only 1 queen bed. It was very sufficient for 2 people. FYI, we paid $75/nt/room from Priceline. Very nice hotel, would recommend.

depending on the age of the children, you might want to put the two eldest together and have the youngest with you, or even split up the adults if the kids are very young. connecting rooms re a good idea if available.

some Novotels will accommodate more than 2-3 people in a room:
