Will poll the attendees later on the venue- Japanese or Chinese Dim Sum. Will need to factor in the ability of the place to handle groups of 12-15. Lets first see who we have then lock down a date, then the venue. Thanks!

Hi all! Thanks to BillT for tracking me down and letting me know about this. I'd love to join y'all if I'm available. I used to be a regular, and then I forced myself to stay away for a while when I realized all of my travel was going to be limited to work trips and taking my high school age son to visit colleges -- too tempting otherwise!

FYI - I'm local and mid-Sept to early Oct sounds fine. Ditto for dim sum.
I've been to two Texas GTGs. The first was in Austin a long time ago and then one in Houston at Teala's. These are always great fun.

Topping- looks like we have about 8-10 so far. Will begin to focus on dates soon. In the mean time I need your e-mail, name, how many are coming (i.e. you alone or with spouse), and your hometown. I can then get a list together to keep people posted on the logisitcis. My email is:

Ok we have generated enough interest. Now lets focus on some dates. I'm looking at Saturdays after labor day weekend- so lets try 9/9, 16, or 23.

No one has mentioned the H word. It might be best to plan for any contingency.
