Hotels in Venice

Best Western Ala
Best Western Monte Carlo
Antico Doge, or
Violino D'Oro

Which one would be a better choice?

What are your criteria, anyway?

Best wishes,

Rex -

It is actually for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. They are ending a cruise in Venice. My mother sometimes can have some difficulty getting around, so we are looking for something well located, very clean, and reasonably quiet with an elevator under $300/night. Thanks for your help

I have never seen the Ala, but the postings I have read seem to indicate that the quality of the room sizes and quality can vary a great deal. Is this true?
